Will crank, won't start
Hi Guys, 2.4tdci in an 08 Defender. Just had clutch and slave replaced last week. Vehicle ran fine on completion ,2 days later it just wont start on the key, it turns over but won't fire, I can start it by bumping and if I spray easistart at it runs cup fine. I have renewed the 5 micron and have run it up since on easistart. Anyone got any ideas I would appreciate your comment. All relays and fuses checked but I havent checked the connections on the green unit behind the RH speaker yet.

Near Tavy, I ran the Bearmach diagnostic tool on it today and there were no codes. It showed that I had 65000kPa on the fuel rail and I am led to believe that you should see a minimum of 54k. So it appears not to be a fuel problem. As the clutch was recently changed I've ordered a crank position sensor which I'll fit tomorrow. At this point I am out of my depth as if the cps is sending the correct signal to the ECU where do you go from here? any comment would be appreciated. Update, I removed and refitted the original CPS and it started first time.
