They were reported to be doing so yes, investing in Brazil if my memory serves me correctly.

I thought it was interesting that Porsche was doing that, given it already has a very accomplished electric vehicle out. Are they doing it because:

(a) A silent electrical motor doesn't give the same driving pleasure as an internal combustion engine of today.

(b) They don't think battery technology will improve to the point where we can charge them much more quickly, reduce their weight and increase their capacity.

(c) Hedging their bets by divesting their interests.

I did hear a rumour that Mr Ineos has quite an abundance of hydrogen left over as a by-product of his chemical factories. I'm not suggesting he has enough to run the country, but it could explain why he is also interested in pushing in the hydrogen direction. 2005 Td5 90 XS

I did wonder today with all the ongoing pandemic news, if the future of working is 'from home' where possible. Clearly there are many jobs which cannot be done at home, but there are also many which can be - can we reduce our overall pollution output by cutting out a lot of commuting traffic and make the new norm an office in our houses?

We have not had the level of internet connectivity that many of us enjoy today before, and with the web technologies which are now available perhaps it is time to say goodbye to the offices, and change the way we work permanently.

Force shopping to be done online with a quick (same day, preferably same hour) delivery service, I wonder how much of an impact this would have on our road usage? 2005 Td5 90 XS
