balancing problem on new wheel/tyre

I was checking out my new boosts/BFG ATs from Paddocks the other day pending fitting to my 110 which I will be picking up on Wednesday.
I noticed that one of them had not been balanced but there was a strip of weights left in the packaging so I took the wheel to a trusted tyre fitters on my way to work to get it balanced. It took the guy a while to get it mounted properly on the machine and it was calling for 200g of weights to balance which means,he said, that it was unbalancable.
I spoke to Paddocks who will send out another wheel/tyre to us while we are on hols in London in 2 weeks time. Fair play but between then and now I will have travelled about 600 ish miles.

If I put the wheel at the back for now will it cause any problems re suspension/bushings etc if its left on for that many miles, particularly as its so far out of balance or am I worrying over nothing ?

Why didn't the tyre shop break the bead and rotate the tyre 180 deg normally this is just two high spots together , unless there's more to the story,

Generally BFG AT,s in 265 spin up fine 285 can take a bit more time I'd also opt for clip weights as they are further outward will ask for less weight

I would run it on the back axle rather than the front, but I doubt that you'll have any problems with it.

thanks chaps
a guy at work also questioned why they didn't move the tyre around on the rim but I didn't know this at the time. Anyway it will do for now. Cheers

As Ken says ...just rotate the tyre a bit till they get it right ? NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

in fairness to Paddocks they are going to courier one out and collect the faulty one while we're on hols at the in-laws in London in a weeks time
