There is a wedge shaped clip in the center of the bottom of the antenna that you must hold and squeeze to lift the antenna up (after you remove the two nuts.). It’s not difficult just awkward. Clip is next to writing.

Thanks for the quick reply! Do you know if the exterior cover only may be removed without removing the camera? I purchased a replacement cover from UK Powerful

I’m not positive but I do believe you have to remove it from the car. It’s really not that bad.
