Thanks new battery seems to have done the trick.
DRW I built a garage for my Mini With a place for everything and everthing in its place. Ten years down the line there's a Mini in there somewhere, and all's where it should be!!!! Ho hum |

Mine is doing this as well, so if I just replace the battery I don't reset anything with Imob is that correct?
Oh and fantastic website here. Great information on the TD5 etc. |

hi all, thread revival....
battery change on a TD5 key fob and now the fob won't work at all, putting the old battery in doesn't help so it's not the battery, must be that it needs resetting or something. I was hoping to read what Dorset had posted but the photos dont come up any more. Could anyone advise what to do to reset it and make the fob come alive again? Thanks. |

With new battery in your key fob you need to resync it if will not lock or unlock
Standing near the vehicle, keep pressing the lock button until the indicators flash, then press the unlock button once. |
