Nice looking but not an original station wagon.
I stand corrected now. it would appear original as bulkhead not removed until later CSW's produced. Andy Defender Td5 XS90 Last edited by Force64 on 15th Mar 2021 12:07pm. Edited 1 time in total |

For what reason? It has all factory fittings and paperwork I have shows it to be CSW

The bulkhead bar behind the front seats. I do not believe that the originals have them. My 2005 doesn’t.
Perhaps more knowledgeable people on this forum can confirm. Andy Defender Td5 XS90 |

Up to 2001 had the old style bulkhead similarly to the 300TDi and they also had the older style dash with radio trim. My2002 onwards had the removal bar as far as I am aware.

^^^^^ What jrule says, the bulkhead removal bar is a 'relatively' new feature on CSWs

Yep, my 2005 SW had a bulkhead which I removed myself. You can see the headlamp leveller switch on the dash, I believe only SW’s had this.

I work on a 2003 CSW with a factory bulkhead delete. The tub cappings are different (they have the 2 welds) and the lack of continuation to the bulkhead.. which is not cut but properly formed, and of course the wheel arches where they would have met the bulkhead.
Edit: Need to add that I do not know when the bulkhead delete was introduced... if only I lived closer.. I would have snatched it. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |
