90 Dreamer, looks like centre dash panel out then to see the back of the radio. Crying or Very sad

Is it not the same as a normal single din and simply pull the unit out of the front of the dash??
If not then is there a 'how to' guide anywhere for removing the panel please??

Yes, sorry, you can just remove the radio.
I was thinking maybe the wiring to the radio might be lost behind the dash somewhere.

Sorry for the silly question, is it a face off head unit?
Have you removed & refitted?

If the blower's working then it's not a terminal left off the ignition switch.

Was the warranty work in or around the dash area?

If your clock, interior lights and instrument cluster are working ok (these share the radio's permanent 12V feed) then fuses wise it could only be Fuse 27 (5A) which is the Aux (key position 1) supply to the radio only.

If it's an Alpine then yes you can pop the head unit out of the cage if you have a pair of Alpine radio keys.

To remove the whole panel, take out the 2 Torx screws about 2/3 down - one each side.

Then get your fingers over the top of the panel where it meets the tray above the clock, and pull towards you. You will release the clips, then work downwards.

I'm sure there's a YouTube video or a thousand showing it!  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

The warranty work was to replace the front foam seal / paintwork below the windscreen but not sure what they would / could have disturbed to cause this issue was just musing they may have removed and not re-installed correctly??

So mystery solved today and now have a fully working radio........the 10A fuse in the rear of the headunit was blown

I was told on collection tht the battery had gone flat so presumably they have jump started it and managed to 'spike' the radio hence the blown fuse??
