Can't say I've ever seen those in particular fitted but judging by the short mounting bracketry I'd hazard a guess that they'd probably sit just below the sills like here:

Thanks for the reply, Stuart, I'd agree that they look to be mounted a little higher as per the image you posted.
Could do with comparing them side by side with other options to get a proper idea, really. |

I'd rather just have rock sliders with protruding steps that replace the sills rather than that setup. just looks cumbersome to me.

I may actually have just found a 130 with those steps installed here
They seems to have removed the sills entirely, maybe so you can get your foot under? Click image to enlarge It doesn't however support my initial theory with the short bracketry... maybe the product photos are at an angle that they look short or, they extend them with that truck having a lift?? Not keen on the bare-sill look personally. I would also tend to agree with you, looks like they have extended the brackets in this image ^ |

I just think it looks a little "unfinished" in this side profile image:

I quite like these. Anyone knows if they're off the shelf of custom made, and where they can be purchased? Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000 |

To be fair, they look like standard rock sliders with chequer plate inserts, but I could be wrong...

Shire fabrications do 60mm rock/tree sliders to fit 130 for reasonable money. I have them on the 110 and getting some made up for the 130. Mine need to be 6 inches longer than standard 130 sills however.

They were custom made as far as I'm aware. Can't imagine it be that hard for you or a shop to replicate - just a angled cut to the end of the tube. Stuart Cummins 130 Build Thread 58 130 Double Cab HCPU - Cairns Blue 04 110 Double Cab - Black (gone) 07 Audi RS4 Avant - Silver |

I'm guessing it'll be these in 130 flavour:

I understand what would make you say that, but I think you're wrong: with standard rock sliders the tube isn't offset / angled downwards but parallel to the "sill"-part.
True, but I think it would be more convenient and probably cheaper if I could just purchase a set, hence the question. Defender 130 HCPU Td5 MY2000 |
