Brit Part Double-Cardon front prop shaft
Hey Guy's

Picked up a brand new Brit part Double Cardon front prop shaft at the right price on the weekend.

It looks good and strong, but I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this shaft or comments prior to me fitting it.

I have a 2" lift on the PUMA. I have not had problems so far but I am about to replace the standard shocks with extended versions and the extra down travel may cause bind on the uni's.

All thoughts comments welcome.

Cheers

The general Opinion from mechanics
I know is that on a 2" lift then a double Cardon is not normally needed. Extended brake hoses would normally be the only the additional required item needed.

Have 2" lift on one of our vehicles and do not have problems with UJs. No anti roll bar

One idea is to hoist vehicle up and let the axles reach max droop and check it out carefully.

Since you have it why not check droop with Cardon shaft not fitted and fitted?

My Disco2 automatic had a DC prop from brand new and it caused a vibration at 70mph and it went away at 80mph, very annoying. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I thought that you should not lift a Tdci any more than an inch due to g box being at a strange tilt.
