Its a £300 option, be daft not to in my mind.
I've spent ages on the configurator building various versions of the car I want, and this option has been ticked on every build

Honestly, it was one of the things I left off until the last minute for whatever reason, but it went on (at the MY21 rates, and even in USD!). I've always been happy with nice analogue sweeps, but this lot of reprobates convinced me... D110 P300 (now here) -- Pangea Green / white roof / white steelies / Off-road pack / towing pack / cold-weather pack / heated seats and assorted fun odds and sods

I keep mine dead simple with the 2 dials and the analogue clock in the middle. When I’m using nav it pops up junction info when needed. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Can CarPlay (Google Maps there-on) be shown in a decent sized window on the DigiDash? Question

I just use LRs own navigation for this reason.

On the velar I always have the map displayed between the dials. Though I do like the analog clock on the Defender. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I bet you do, given all your AWD issues! D110 P300 (now here) -- Pangea Green / white roof / white steelies / Off-road pack / towing pack / cold-weather pack / heated seats and assorted fun odds and sods

One problem I find with having the map showing between the dials all the time, is that it’s too dim to see! Unless you have a programmed route showing it’s impossible to read it properly. The junction pop up is fine. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

It should be in full colour, blue for water etc, if not LR will need to look at this, because in the Velar I can switch between the two, seems a backwards step if you can’t in the Defender. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

It is full colour, just dim. It’s not so bad in daylight when the display is bright, but as soon as it’s dusk and the system switches to night mode, I found it dim. I know you can set the scheme to bright in the settings, but I found that too bright on the Pivi screen at night.

Maybe I’m hard to please! I like the clock. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Btw the dim display is a fault this is part of the reason my differentials were glitching. There’s a patch being developed now scheduled to release next month, it has to be installed at the dealership though not over the air.

Thumbs Up

I think I’ll have the clock just for the novelty of it. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

At least I’ll be able to claim (probably without basis in fact) that it’s the displaying being dim, not me??? D110 P300 (now here) -- Pangea Green / white roof / white steelies / Off-road pack / towing pack / cold-weather pack / heated seats and assorted fun odds and sods

Gareth you aren’t the only one that isn’t happy with the contrast of the map in the main driver info screen, when it goes to nighttime setting (and that seems to be independent of when the headlights come on) it does it in quite high light levels and it is unreadable. The thumb wheel illumination adjuster down by the manual switch for the parking brake seems to make no difference too. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
