Wheel hub question
Does anyone know if there's a easy way to change from a LR 5 bolt hub to a jap 6 bolt hub?

I have done some researching and you can buy them in AUS (hubs that fit LR axles but have a 6 bolt face) but shipping here would be pretty high.. anyone know of anything closer to home?

4x4 fabrication have posted some photos to instagram that show method wheels on a Defender... Might be worth contacting them to see if they can provide a solution? Example here https://www.instagram.com/p/CJTzrouMWwC/ > 110 XS Double Cab

Dave and the team at 4x4Fab are converting to Y61 axles Henderson’s the method wheels.

Try the guys at Rakeway engineering, they make wheel spacers and adapters, if they don’t currently make them I’m sure they could make some

Not the most elegant solution, but there should be adaptors. How strong or how safe they are is a question mark.

Not sure if you need a new PCD of 139.7. If yes, that would be 12.7mm radially inwards. Do not know if you can fit some studs on the original LR hub at this new PCD.... but you would definitely need spacers to clear the driving member. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

rakeway advised against spacers,

to me the truck doesn't go over 30 and potters around the farm and local, hardly anything strenuous,

I came across the botrak solution but its a minimum order of 200...

Either they do not want to run smaller batches, or they want you to have 196 of them as spare Rolling with laughter 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
