Try something like this Carplan black plastic stuff. There are others similar, like Simonize, Meguiars etc.

I used it on some black intake vents and other stuff which had become grey and dirty and it brought them up like new. No idea how long they will stay like that though. Mine's been in the garage for long term work since I used it so hasn't seen the daylight and English weather yet.

If that doesn't work, then throw the 110 away and buy another.

I'm all for the idea of getting another one, but I'll keep the first!

I initially sprayed grill and light surrounds "body colour" although the Keswick Green I bought looked nothing like Keswick Green once it had dried! I would have been happy doing them black myself but having not done much spraying before and having a habit of f***ing things up, I decided to get a pro to do the arches and front bits at the same time. I should have got them to refit the arches for me because they are an absolute arse to get on and I ended up cracking the paint.

The one thing I did spray myself is the centre console when I did the stereo. Pretty pleased with how it turned out and holding up pretty well.

That's why I'm not planning to color match the wheel arches to the body. I love the idea, your pics look great, but I'm sure I won't be able to get the same color.
Thanks for the explanation, is refitting the arches so hard?
It seems quite trivial to me but I have your same habit of messing things up.[/quote]

I found somewhere on here someone said not to spray the standard black arches as they're too flexible so I bought some gloss black ones that are more rigid. They were supposed to be genuine arches but came and were Britpart or some other 3rd party make. Anyway, holes didn't all line up. Ended up having to drill a few to get them to fit.

The colour the bodyshop used is 100% bang on. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

If you prep the standard arches correctly, use a plasticiser primer then paint correctly they are fine. I’ve done loads over the years
