Michelin XZL - Boost Alloys
Anyone advise if I can fit Michelin XZL 7.50 R16 onto Boost Alloys or do they have to have inner tubes and can only be fitted to steel wheels.

Thanks

I think they need tubes, and I would not fit 7.50x16 to rims wider than 5.5J which most aloys are.My opinion I based on my farm days with working Landys and is not the Law. Laughing Puma 110 SW

IF the tyre says "tubeless" (which i think XZL's are) then you're OK on that one.

the only other thing, like LESVOSD110 says, is rim width. Although the steel HD aka wolf/130 rims are 6.5" wide, so it's only a half inch.

I've seen 7.50's fitted to various rangie alloys (the old 3 spoke and freestyles) and they never came off the rims... whether it's legal is another question, but physically it worked.

If it's any help my 130 (Wolf steels) has had XZLs from new. The tyres say tubeless on them but the wheels have "tubed" stamped on them. They have tubes!
