Welcome to the forum
I can’t comment on the Defenders keyless entry as I’ve yet to get mine but on my velar it’s works a treat, just touch the button on the door handles and the car unlocks. Would’ve thought the Defender would be the same. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Welcome to the forum Ehloo.
Not sure I can help on the wobbly drive but have you turned off the lane departure in both places? On the steering wheel and on the central screen in the driver aids settings? Even when switched off at both places it still runs in the background but rarely interferes. Also over the air update 2.06 from early December damped the intervention of the LKA considerably. With the keyless entry, this has been a contributing factor in Europe to a huge number of thefts of cars - criminals are able to buy scanners on well known auction and sales websites and in previous keyless systems the fob had a relatively high powered signal continuously transmitting that these guys could capture by walking a couple of metres behind you and re-transmitting the signal to a friend standing beside your car. The car makers tried rolling coding but the crims soon got around that and now the signal strength is so low that you have to stand within about 2 feet of the car to use the touch button on the car door handle. If mine won’t unlock I find often just moving my pocket to face the car is enough for the sensor to read the signal. Blame us Europeans for building expensive and luxury cars that people want to steal! Land Rover wasn’t the only car maker to suffer this issue - BMW and Audi had an even bigger problem with keyless entry systems and car theft. In my previous LR’s and my Mini I could often stand on the other side of a car park and aim the fob at the car, press the unlock button and it would from maybe 50ft away, but it does not work with the new Defender. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

20 years ago - I had a Ford Orion - that used to wander on the motorway at 70 MPH
I had tyres balanced and swapped around position - no difference. A year or so later - new tyres fitted - problem went away... something was wrong with 1 or more tyres causing it... So have the tyres thoroughly checked. |

Definitely look into what Simon mentioned. I used to be a tire tech as a summer job back in college - tire tread can do this to you, especially mismatched tread. If your outfitter allows you the option, try a new set of the same make/model, then try a completely different make/model and see if it goes away. Good luck. '21 L663 X-Dyn HSE P400 Carpathian
