Under bonnet view D300 Ingenium
Took the engine off and had a poke around. Seems tight in there, the rear of the engine is very inaccessible. It appears to have a water cooled inter cooler on top of the engine.
The turbos, cat and I think the dpf are down the right hand side, all the fuel system seem to be to the left.
Washer filler front right, dipstick to the left side.

Where’s the main battery? In the side of the boot space a la D5? Question

Shame the box under the passenger seat is full of gubbins, would be handy for a second battery. Or storing assorted stuff. Sad

Under the boot floor is a large polystyrene storage bin, with room for jack, brace, tow eye, tow bar, and more. If you lift that out there is a large 48v battery system for the mild hybrid. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Sooooooooo, if the MHEV stuff is under the boot flap, where is it in the HT models as they have a very handy looking storage area instead!

In the same place. The handy looking storage is in place of the polystyrene that Gareth mentions and somebody on here has already pondered whether the hardtop tray could be retrofitted. Darren

T’was me pondering such a change, it must go above the MHEV stuff. Confused

Would be most handy if it could be done. Thumbs Up

Gareth good luck getting the dipstick back in first time............. it’s massively long and VERY easily bent. Also make sure that you fully close it as it a locking tang in the yellow cap.
