error code p037d

hello

Hello

following the intermittent starting problem in another topic. I just had the problem, I disconnected and reconnected the glow plug relay and that gave me the fault code p037d. could it be related to my intermittent starting? Thank you for your answers

yes it sounds like a glow plug fault, check the feed into the glow plugs from the relay is ok , then check the resistance on each glow plug.

its either a electric issue or faulty glow plugs.

2.4 puma engine glow plug cct have feed back too the ecm, if the glow plug relay is removed and ecm call for glow plug no feed back will be given and DTC p037d will be logged also blown fuses in this cct will stop relay from closing and DTC p037d will be logged

pos 2012 2.2 engine puma glow plug cct have glow plug ECM

also check resistance on each glow plug. proxy 0.9 ohm each

I put another relay twisted a little the legs and for the moment it works
