Excuse my ignorance but what exactly are they protecting? The LEDs are deeply recessed anyway. I can see the point of headlamp protection as have seen several reports of smashed lenses elsewhere. Only thing I can see that these do is make it difficult to clean the dust and muck that gathers in the recesses out. Also if you break one rear light then there is no replacement other than to replace the entire black unit until someone comes up with renewable parts. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Sometimes the EU has strange rules, I thought perhaps too much is hidden or not viewable from the side. 22MY Defender 110 (actual) | 10MY Freelander 2 (history) | 15MY Discovery Sport HSE (history)

But we're not in the EU anymore in the UK, so we should now be alright free from their stupid rules (one hopes) Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
