Hi,

Are Defender td5 heated seat switches the same as discovery 2?

Thanks

Mike,

Part numbers are YUG102440 (drivers seat) and YUG102430 (passenger seat), don’t know if they are the same as disco, but having just fitted them in my defender, they aren’t cheap!

Yes they are the same as the D2 switches.

They are also "handed", i.e. there is a left and right hand switch. They only fit (without a quick mod to the switch) their correct left or right position and (without a quick mod to the plug) their correct plugs.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Great, thanks for the replies, yes I see new Defender td5 switches are around 70 pounds each looking at various suppliers! Shocked

Thanks for confirming Martin, it's good news Discovery 2 are the same as I will try to source a second hand pair of these. Thumbs Up
