Check your diff lock lever isnt slipping (to the left) & engaging slightly, if will give a similar noise to traction control... Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains

I'll have a look at that,
What confuses me more is that it only happens when turning right, never when I turn left. |

I had this and it was the diff lock lever which had been knocked by the dog!

Had a look at the car this morning,
The Diff lock lever did move back across to the right as though it had been knocked, Although it did seem to reset itself back more neutral, will keep an eye on it hopefully it was just this thats causing a issue. Now to just find the weird knock from the passenger footwell, really need to get under the car but no time at the moment just a job to look at. |

Hopefully a fix! The Diff lever will normally move to a notch type neutral position but can sometimes creep over or get ever so slightly knocked etc, if its on the cusp of engaging it will give the effect you've experienced.
Good luck with the footwell! Since 1973...S1, Air Portable's, Defender's, but only my Wolf TUL HS GS remains |

Could it be tyre wear difference left to right or front to rear that triggers the TC turning to one side but not the other?
Typically tyres on the left wear more due to the right turns on roundabouts. When was tyre rotation done last? 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing 2012 90 CSW, 2.2TDCI, Santorini Black |

Mine was first registered in Sept. 2010 but is a 2011 Model Year vehicle. Land Rover seem to change specs. around the middle of the year and call the revised model the next years model year vehicle. So your 2014 could be a 2015 model. Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right. |
