It’s the Blue one for me, better spec and better colour IMO.

Thank you. Really helpful. Quite a big commitment for me.
I've had my launch disco sport HSE for 5 years. Any more views very welcome. |

Hello
What other goodies inside does the HSE come will over and above the SE? are they similar millage. I guess come resale time would people rather go for the HSE than the SE just as its perceived a higher up model? For me depending on the blue... I've only seen one blue and I'm not keen... so personnel to what you like I like all black, although I would like a lighter interior. Bit like this without the side lunch box. Black looks amazing when clean, what is the colour of your current car? |

Blue because defenders classic colours are green and blue also like what others have said HSE has all the spec, better lights, seats, 4x4 capability etc

I am biased though as I’ve ordered a Blue 90 Come resale though the HSE might be the better choice, as the SE will still only be valued as such despite its options. |

I would personally go for HSE, quite a few nice extras (ACC, leather cooled seats, matrix light, etc.) I also think blue looks great.
Do both come with the same engine? Last edited by G4R1 on 22nd Oct 2020 6:27pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Another for the Blue one - I think this is one car that doesn’t suit very dark colours it looks better in lighter colours Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Don’t buy a 4-cylinder diesel, the 6-cylinder ones will be coming in the next month or two. Very little difference in price!

Thanks for advice. Must admit I'm not massively into cars and would normally specify the smaller engine option. This is for the 110 HSE D240 - 2.0L 240HP. My understanding is that any new 2021 orders placed now are likely to be early 2021 for delivery at best. These are unregistered new vehicles but once confirmed around 2 weeks to arrange roof rack etc. So I think I'm going to get one of these. Keen to lock in trade in on my 5 year old disco sport before it depreciates further as expected, or worse than expected with Covid and Brexit etc. Thank you though. Very helpful. And knowledgeable. |

my current disco sport is Loire Blue, which the very dark navy (but much darker) blue. Must admit I like the pop of the Black Pack detailing against the Blue. Not sure if all black option is a bit much...and you loose detail on the vehicle. Possibly a tad Gimicky or ott. |

yes both the 110 D240 - 2.0L 240HP. I'm leaning towards Blue now.... But still liking the coolness of Black, black pack, black wheels and black rack. |

Your current car will lose a bit more... for sure but waiting for a brand new (your spec) with the latest (for now) engine would be my choice. It may counter act the fact when you come to sell the 'New' old engine-ed car..
If your planning on keeping it for 5 years, I would want my spec, my options with the latest engine and have that 'new' car feel. Unless your saving a bucket load of cash. Your right all black outside may not suit all, on the other end of the scale I think the new defender looks great in white especially with a pano roof. Either way enjoy what you order |
