It's white or silver for me...better for the long hot summers here in Southern California

If there has been an offer of price reduction on the D240 engineed car why wait for the 6 cylinder. There’s nothing wrong with the 4 cylinder engine. TBH if you are planning to keep the car as long as you’ve kept your Discovery Sport it will make no difference apart from the D240 emitting a couple of tonnes more CO2 and NOX over the 6 cylinder. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Exactly if the price is right then why wait, after all none of us have tried the 3.0 I6.

I bought the DS from launch with the old 2.2 PSA engine, those on Fl2 forum said I was mad when the all singing all dancing ingenium unit was due in a matter of months and look how that turned out.

Thanks all. The price is right, and I ordered HSE Tasman Blue. I should get it in a week or so after installation of expedition roof and mud flaps etc.

Those 4 cylinder engines could be the last of their kind without any electrical battery hybrid assistance...piece of history there. The D240 got great reviews from all the journalists it’s a good engine.

I would personally go for HSE, quite a few nice extras (ACC, leather cooled seats, matrix light, etc.) I also think blue looks great.

Do both come with the same engine?
yes both the 110 D240 - 2.0L 240HP.

I'm leaning towards Blue now.... But still liking the coolness of Black, black pack, black wheels and black rack.

We recently purchased an "off the shelf" HSE 240, we ended up with an excellent price on it as opposed to to the First Edition we'd already decided on - the First Edition would had to have been transferred from another dealer down south - the local dealer had a couple of Indus Silver HSEs at the time ( our preferred colour) so it was a no-brainer for us

It is indeed a decent engine, running it in my Velar.

The build program on the US site shows the SE and HSE with the same lights. Where does it say the lights are different?

Here in the UK SE gets Premium LED lights which have twice the amount of LEDs as the standard LED lights. HSE gets matrix LEDs which although look the same the matrix are more advanced and can blank off on coming vehicles to prevent dazzling them. I have them on my Velar, on dark roads it drives on full beam and blanks off certain LEDs to avoid dazzling on coming traffic.

In the US it seems you guys only get premium LED lights on both models.

UK spec
