I need a new cover ("awning bag", I think they call it) for my Foxwing awning. In the old days these were easily obtainable but at the moment the only UK source I can find which lists them is Oztent.co.uk but they have shut down to move premises and are not taking orders.
Does anyone know where I could get a new cover, preferably the latest Series 2 type please? This is a link to the thing I need: https://www.oztent.co.uk/acatalog/FOXWING-COVER-S2.html#SID=14 |

Have you asked Brendan, 4x4 overlander? He stocks some spares for them.

Presumably you have the existing cover, even if it's worn or broken somehow?
I just wondered if you might be able to take that to a 'tarp manufacture' place and get them to knock something up? We have a place locally that makes trailer covers, fence signage, boat covers etc etc and I imagine it would be pretty simple for them to copy something from a template. Just a thought. ^^^ I did the same with a roof tent cover. I used Canvasman at Otley, West Yorkshire. Not cheap but they did an excellent bespoke job using top notch heavy duty material. Very pleased.

Always an option, thanks for the suggestion.
My existing cover is ok still but starting to suffer from UV degradation, and I thought it would be an easy job to replace before the winter. I hadn't realised the problems with UK supply at the moment until I started looking. I can probably wait but might investigate getting one shipped from Oz. |

How did you get on sourcing a replacement?
I'm currently in the same position of wanting to replace one suffering with UV damage and getting a custom made replacement appears to be the only option as I can't find any in stock. Keith |

Eventually I tracked one down at
58 Yarmouth Road Blofield NORWICH NR13 4LQ Telephone: 01603 717600/717800 http://www.norwichcamping.co.uk Apparently Norwich Camping and Leisure bought all the UK stock from the previous importer (BOAB/oztent.co.uk), and certainly in December had several in stock. When I bought mine it was £60 plus 6.99 postage to mainland uk. If you ring them on 01603 717600 they can take payment over the phone. In fact your question has made me thing it might be worth buying a spare while they are available! (For the avoidance of doubt, I should make it cleat that I have no connection with Norwich Camping except as a happy customer). |

Thanks for the tip.
Not showing as stock on their website but a quick phone call and I now have a version 2 on its way. Keith |

I should have suggested them earlier. I forgot about them, I even bought a oztent king kokoda chair off them. For a very good price as well.
