It's an in line fuse/surge protection device to protect your electrics from possible spikes in the electrical network when you plug into site mains.

That's an interesting explanation. I don't suppose you could tell me how it is to be used, I seem to be missing something somewhere. In particular what is the 3 position switch used for.

How does that work? The site mains are 240v 3 pin circular plugs so how do two back to back 7 pin towing plugs come into it? Sorry I must be thick, been towing caravans for years, are you saying it is if the caravan electrics are still connected to the car when you plug the site mains in? ![]() Cheers. 04' 90 Td5 CSW.. |
