Park Brake - Service Mode Manual Activation / Deactivation | |
Not sure if this was posted before, from the workshop manual. You - or your mechanic - would follow this procedure if replacing rear brake pads and/or brake discs without LR diagnostics (which has a routine to do this automatically), to release and set the EPB in service mode, and back into regular operating mode after you are done servicing the rear brakes.

You also need to be aware that as new Defender does not have a brake booster, it has a brake booster module (BBM) this also needs to be put in service mode before ANY brake repairs are carried out
