From Order to Delivery Date
I placed an order for a Defender 110 S a couple of weeks ago and I was wondering whether anyone has an idea how long it takes to get a delivery date. I was assured by my dealer that the order was submitted. When I asked how long until I know even the month of delivery, he said “soon.” Any ideas?

Ask your dealer when he will be getting his next batch of allocations, and if based on priority you would expect to be in that batch. Ask him what order you are in line for the S model. Once you get allocated, you will get an est. delivery date. Mine moved up one week sooner for my SE. I finalized my order in June and was immediately allocated (based on relationship with the dealer) and received a Sept 25th Delivery Date. That moved up to Sept 18th shortly thereafter. It is actually due to the port of Baltimore on Sept 4th destined for CT. So... it could arrive a little sooner than the 18th after all of the processing, port fittings, transport, etc.

Has the dealer given you any reasons behind the delay?

Speculation..........They are bringing production of Defender and Disco5 back to Solihull? SVO to build commercial versions in the U.K.? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Special vehicles are building the Hardtops.

The rumour that production is coming back to the UK has been doing the rounds for a while.
