Hello
I had the BAS remap done a good few years ago now and i can honestly say does transform the engine immensely! so much more lively, didn't realise how flat the standard map was. it adds software to stop the EGR valve too, i have a plug in device with my remap which lets me choose between standard, towing and full. i always keep mine in the towing setup which works best for me. Honestly, driving it for the first time after the remap i was so impressed and instantly knew my money was well spent. i had done a lot of research on remaps and different vendors but settled with Peter at BAS because he had carried out a tremendous amount of work setting the parameters for a safe map. may be some one who lives near you who has had one you and could have a test drive? You won't regret having it done 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8 2010 110 XS Utility 2.4TDCI 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 (gone) 2007 Discovery HSE TDV6 (gone) 1993 110 csw 200 tdi (gone) 1994 90 HT 300 tdi (gone) 1994 discovery 300tdi (gone) 90 hybrid 3.5 v8 (gone) Range rover bobtail 3.5 v8 (gone) |

As above plus Pete's after sales service is second to none.
I've had a BAS remap for 100k miles of very mixed motoring, autobahns to green lanes, Alpine mountain passes to motorways and the key thing is that it makes the Defender more "drivable" in all conditions. Have the EGR disabled and the speed limiter removed for the best effect. Talk directly to Pete to see if an uprated intercooler is required for your normal useage, he will tell you honestly either way. Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right. |

Yes me to - too old to read instructions and very impatient It was not difficult and where I "misunderstood" the instructions a quick message exchange on the BAS website soon had me sorted out. Pete appears to see what you're doing over the ether - magic and witchcraft Fuel consumption on my 2011 110 2.4 USW was 26 ish mpg before and after tuning. Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right. |

No its very easy, basically plug the unit into the OBD under the steering wheel then turn ignition on, the unit wakes up and you choose one of the 3 maps then let it load up for a few minutes and your ready to go, also has a fault reading function on there too! so really really easy.

Hi all. 1st time posting. I have a 2.4 tdci and I’m looking to get a BAS Remap. I live in Warrington, Cheshire. Where is the best place for me to get this done, relatively locally?
Thanks in advance. Dean |

Click this link and do it on your drive.
https://bellautoservices.co.uk/store/bas2-rrc-defender-2-4l-tdci/ I've used this remap for over 100k miles together with speed limiter removal option, can't recommend it highly enough. Bell Auto Services back up second to none. Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right. |
