Hi guys,
Lately i have been noticing that when turn from a stop and while releasing the clutch there is a weird Burring sound and the TC lights comes on for a millisecond and then everything goes back to normal. its something that started happening since a couple of months and want to know if its anything to worry about. EDIT: Forgot to mention that it happens every once a while, not very frequent. |

Hello,
Reviving this old post, Took it to an LR specialist and he hooked up a OBD2 scanner just to look at the live data from the speed sensors of all four wheels, 3 of them showed the same speed from pulling away except one which was stuck on 1, he just tapped the speed sensor a bit and it got fixed! Now when pulling away there isn't any noise and no flashes, I hope this helps anyone with the same problem. 2014 Defender LXV 2023 Defender 90 HSE |

I had an issue once with a faulty sensor on my Disco2 which was giving a high reading. If you cleared the fault and drove off, the TC would immediately brake the FNS wheel hard, which was rather disturbing. It would eventually realise there was a fault and shut down the TC, ABS, and HDC (illuminating the three amigos). A new sensor fixed it.
It was the first (and so far only) time I've had a TC system try to kill me. |

This is identical to what mine is doing. Diagnostics showed a wheel sensor. I’ll be ordering one and swapping out to see if it fixes it.
