Yes I agree and if you’re carrying rear passenger it’s a no go option but for me I like the aesthetic look it gives the car, without it the rear windows look too long and gives the 90 a stretched look. Guess it’s personal preference at the end of the day there’ll only be a Jack Russell in the back of mine Laughing

This is the colour scheme I would get - if I could afford one - which I can’t....
I think it looks great in 90 version

Lack of squares is essential.
I still can't help but think the 90 looks a little goofy, and I usually much prefer 2-door variants.
I'm not sure what it is, the length of the doors maybe? They are certainly huge compared to the classic 90, although as it's the only way to get to the back seats it's to be expected.

The doors aren’t that much bigger than the new 110, couple of inches at most.

Definitely bigger than the old 90 but it’s a much larger vehicle.

@ Jerry - Blue or Green are about the only colours worth paying for.

I see your point! Thumbs Up And I think I agree re. the glass area, I made & posted a quick PS of the 90 some time ago with body coloured a, b & c pillars to see what it would look like, and I think it helps (which I suppose is sort of what the square is doing):

(I also added an opening rear window, which I think dogs & passengers alike would appreciate)!

Deep in the woods at Eastnor in the new Defender 90. These cars are ‘basic’ spec - P300 with coil springs rather than air suspension, and no Terrain Response 2 - but we still tackled the toughest trails.

That silver looks so good out in the mud.

Where was that photo from? Was there a write up on the 90’s performance, I’m yet to read any review on the 90.

That’s all there was, I’m assuming it’s a snippet of up coming road test. It’s on Instagram I think, I’m not on it someone sent it to me.

That doesn’t look bad at all and yes I agree a little sliding rear window would of been good Thumbs Up

All still under embargo until all journos, social influencers, and other freeloaders have all had a go.

Would be interesting to see it photographed/compared with this:

Couple of snippets from the test drive, I though LR would’ve had them kitted out with air suspension and all the off road gimmicks that they had on the 110 press cars.

I wonder if the tow rope that is draped along the bonnet was needed.......... not great place to put it if you treasure the paint on the bonnet. It looks a bit weedy for pulling any style of Defender out of the swamp. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

It's the only option if you don't want to go down on your chest in the mud to reach the recovery hook...
First thing when my Defender arrives I'll make a hole in the plastic cover to reach that recovery point easily.
