If you don't want to drill the wing, you can go through the wing top vent cover, either the standard plastic one, or one like I now have, below. You then also have the benefit of an easy route into the engine bay or cockpit without having to hide the cable. Has worked well for me. Click image to enlarge |

It just uses an antenna cable direct to a vhf transceiver installed in the cubby box

Ah ok... it’s a dab mount like this I’m trying to understand?? Or if possible convert a cb aerial to work on dab. @steve_overland on Insta.
