I'm liking this Defender more and more with every photo! Thumbs Up

I also think the zebra stripes are excellent and really help the visual proportions of the vehicle.

Thumbs Up
I must admit, I'm also liking it more with every bit of tat I bolt on to it Laughing

The stripes help to disguise what would otherwise be a very long slab of white!

The tractor is a bit of a classic too, now. It's depressing that I can remember when those were first introduced and were the state of the art! Shocked Sad

Due to the mess left behind by the chapter 8 emergency chevrons, I decided to repaint the back end. Refurbed the hinges while I was on Cool

I believe they are GMB?
There is a similar set on ebay from the same seller here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GMB-station-wag...SwqSBfbbCC

Mine are the self supporting ones however as they are 2 part with a static bracket mounted across the cargo tracks and the tracks mounted to the hinged bracket.

Did have an issue in that there were some parts missing but this was resolved through ebay.....

Took a trip up to Flatdog yesterday to get the custom built rack fitted, apparently it's the longest one they've built to date Laughing Great service, ordered it last week and ready a week later. Bit of an Aladdins Cave in their showroom however and I came away with a few extra bits....

Also sold the brownchurch rack and had fun with buyer getting it up onto the roof of his shiny 110.... It's a bit heavier than the new one!

Truck is in for its window tints today and then next job to get the tent on.
