Looking at a car and it has these advisories from last MOT
Any thoughts on the more interesting ones?? I'm not fussed about the tyres etc....

Nearside Front Tyre slightly damaged/cracking or perishing (5.2.3 (d) (ii))
Offside Front Tyre slightly damaged/cracking or perishing (5.2.3 (d) (ii))
Nearside Rear Tyre slightly damaged/cracking or perishing (5.2.3 (d) (ii))
Offside Rear Tyre slightly damaged/cracking or perishing (5.2.3 (d) (ii))
Nearside Front Tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge (5.2.3 (e))
Power steering pipe/hose has slight seepage (2.1.5 (a))
Steering box slight movement (2.1.1 (d) (i))
Suspension rod pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement (5.3.4 (a) (i))

How old is the cr? It sounds as if a new set of tyres would sort out the immediate problems and the others can be sorted over time . Nothing very expensive or serious ! 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue

Some tyres last a long time so if there aren’t many miles on them they could have been on for years - if it’s parked in the sun they could easily degrade over time. My Defender’s original Contis lasted 60,000 miles and 6 years and the sidewalls were looking worse for wear.
As said above, the rest of the issues wouldn’t cause me too much stress. 2012 110 XS SW Orkney Grey

Seeing such easily rectifiable advisories on an MoT makes me wonder what else the owner has neglected to keep on top of - the tyres are the only things that keep the car on the road & if an owner can't even keep them in good order...
