How old is the cr? It sounds as if a new set of tyres would sort out the immediate problems and the others can be sorted over time . Nothing very expensive or serious ! 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue

Some tyres last a long time so if there aren’t many miles on them they could have been on for years - if it’s parked in the sun they could easily degrade over time. My Defender’s original Contis lasted 60,000 miles and 6 years and the sidewalls were looking worse for wear.

Seeing such easily rectifiable advisories on an MoT makes me wonder what else the owner has neglected to keep on top of - the tyres are the only things that keep the car on the road & if an owner can't even keep them in good order...
