I ended up fitting the ARB twin to the side of the fridge shelf which I made that sits behind the passenger seat, the cable route was very easy from the battery just in front, close the the carling switch mounted on the cubby box and it’s removable so when not required it all comes out and seat back in.

The twin ARB is fantastic, well made, fast, air cooled, well recommend Thumbs Up 2016 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 TDV8

Did you stick a tank in?

If not, it is really worthwhile. You fire up the compressor/s so it's ready with its full tank. Also when you are between tyres you are building up the reserve again. It's not a lot but it is worthwhile. Also the compressor will not be turning on & off as frequently.

I removed the ARB fittings on the tank & replaced with my own, they seem to be bonded in, but I did crack the joint hitting the end of a spanner while kneeling on the tank. Eventually getting the fittings off.

I actually have a second tank which I was hoping to fit in the car. But I would need to move the boot compressor somewhere else. So still thinking about this mini project!

The ARB tank is not 4L as I filled it with water & measured it. It's about 3.7L so 1 gallon! Visitor - Freelander owner

The air line coming out of the compressor gets seriously hot. If it is not cooled at the connection well enough you really should use a metal braided hose for the first half metre or so. Then a rubber hose, not a plastic hose as supplied, for at least a few metres. If you have an air tank it will dissipate enough heat inflating 4 tyres. Ideally the air should be at ambient temperature when it reaches the tyres or filter if you have one. Visitor - Freelander owner

Three ARB compressors inflating while engine is running 255/60R18, about 60 litres volume. 20 - 35psi 27 seconds or 15 - 40psi 47 seconds. The pressure sits around 112psi according to the pressure regulator.

So if I wants to speed this up I will need to add a fourth compressor. If this gets close to the my current cut off if 135psi then a 150psi switch will be required.
