1997 Defender 110 300 Tdi SW Alpine White

Ashcroft Lt230 1.30 Ratio Gearset

G'day. Inquiring if anyone has fitted an Ashcroft 1.30 ratio gear set to a Tdi300 LT230. I'm in Australia and so far I've not found anyone here that has fitted one.
Being a Tdi300 mine has sufficient power but not excessive so I'm concerned fitting a 1.2 ratio from a D1 may impact driveability, and thus turn it into a slug.
The fuel system is std on mine and for engine longevity I intend to leave is std.

Look forward to hearing any feedback.

G"day, i fitted a Disco1 transfer case, its great for motorway driving , but sluggish with a trailer on, 4 th gear pulls to 60mph, so never use 5th with trailer,
