It's a 2.4 not a 2.2, I don't know how much difference that makes.

I fettled some brackets to fit but the raised height of the Provent lid was being pushed down by the bonnet when shut .
I ended up just letting it float without a bracket . It seems perfectly secure and hardly moves with the thick silicone pipes attached . Added to that there’s no weight to it (unless it’s full of oil !) I have a drain tap going down to just above the front mud flap with a tap . I can see the oil in the pipe at a quick glance without having to lift the bonnet . Click image to enlarge https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/ |

[quote="Co1"]I’ve had this sat on the shelf for about 2 years now as I can’t find a spot suitable to install it. For those that have them, where have you put em?

Hi guys, slightly different slant to the thread but as you have them fitted.... How much oil do you actually recover? Have you found you're getting 4ml every 12000 miles, or are you getting half a cup?
I can't quite figure out whether or not it's a good idea or not. I know it's almost the first thing Aussie 4x4 owners do this the provent brand, but mixed feelings. What do you reckon? |

I’m catching a fair bit , maybe 25ml every 500-700 miles , more so if I’m doing a lot of short runs over a month . https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/
