Wales 1995 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Epsom Green
What are these?
Sorry if this is an obvious question...... Noticed this hole in the block today, not noticed it before as it’s a recent replacement. Checked my old block and there were 4 but siliconed up which is why I have never noticed them before. Question is what are they for and should I silicone or just leave them? Defender 300tdi.

Redundant holes from the drilling of oilways/waterways etc. I believe.
