Gents.
Having imported my 2004 90 to Canada, the existing tow ball is 50mm but the trailers here are 2". I used a trailer last weekend and although it fitted, there was far too much wobble. The flange mount type tow balls are not common here at all, pretty much finding nothing. They all use a 2" tube. Does anyone know either of the following: Could I get a 2" flange type ball? If so, where? Could I get a 2" square mount so that I could use the types of tow balls over here? Thank you in advance |

I'm not sure about getting a 2inch flange type ball. They haven't been used for decades over here. You can, however, buy a 2 inch receiver hitch for your Defender that will allow you to use local towing equipment:

Yep, I have the Terrafirma equivalent, and it's also excellent, either would do the job.

If you don't mind sending the CAD drawings, that would be great, I would really appreciate that, thank you Shipping costs to Northern Alberta are somewhat expensive from the UK, |
