110 rear sliding windows
The bottom runners of the sliding rear windows of my 110 have a lot of moss growth in them, I wondered if anyone has any idea how to eliminate this problem.
Quite happy to fit new bottom runners if they are available
Cheers

This is very easy to fit without removing the glass.

If the runners are sound I found that diluted proprietary liquid moss killer and a toothbrush works well. Don't leave it on too long and give it a good rinsing afterwards.

I treated mine to the garrison outfitters seals - which I rate, though not cheap compared to buying just the felt runners. I’d also replace the middle seal/scraper which I didn’t at the time. Horses for courses, and woolies are a helpful bunch too.

Cleaned mine out on quarantine day 8 (day 7 was spraying ACF50 on anything brown).

Armed with a toothbrush, cotton buds, razor blade, washing up sponge and some anti mould spray from the bathroom.

I don't think my 2008 110 rear windows had ever been cleaned and was like a little eco system.

Gave everything a good flushing afterwards to get off all the anti-mould stuff off.

Came up a treat.
