Fitting 300Tdi into LHD N/A exmod 90 with LT77
Alright looking to see if anyone has successfully done this conversion before, I couldn’t find a 200 engine when I was engine hunting so I got a 300Tdi and it’s fitted and mated to LT77 and I used a Steve Parker’s bolt in engine mount kit.

Problem is the turbo outlet hose collides with the steering shaft as it’s a LHD.

Just a thought, do you have a short bell housing? if so maybe a long one would bring the engine forward. 300 TDI's were fitted in LHD models so it must be possible.

Longer bellhousing would require different gearbox and knock out the engine mounts as I want to be able to fit a N/A in the future.

I have asked Steve Parker and got ignored even though I’ve spent fair bit at his shop including the engine mount kit, got great advice from glencoyne engineering, like swapping exhaust manifold for a 200tdi unit as outlet is further forward, possible clocking of turbo. Seen a 300Tdi in a LHD series 3 and they clocked turbo and relocated alternator. Got loads of intercooler hose and tubing but currently can’t get near project due to lockdown. Didn’t think I’d be the only one to come against this before. A bit disappointed in Steve Parker as this is the second issue he has ignored my call for assistance.
