fitting to what?
td5 axle is p38 diff. if fitting to puma (all of less maybe 130?) or some td5s then same. some early td5 110s had rover diff. ratios are same just different prop lengths and bolt pattern to fit diff. you fitting whole axle or axle casing and to what? I did this a couple of years ago... puma (or late Td5) axle into a Td5 110 that used to have a salisbury.
Bolts straight in.... ratios are the same. You need the correct propshaft to go with it; puma one is longer... ![]() Click image to enlarge (^^ Salisbury left, puma right) ![]() Click image to enlarge |

so it depends on age of the td5 (and model) if the td5 has the same diff then use same prop. if the td5 has a salisbury diff then as Jamie says new prop needed or 80mm longer bolts.....................................

Thank you both for the replies, It is a standard axle in both, so hopefully a straight forward so.
