An Arizona Department of Safety Officer pulled over a pick-up truckowner
for a faulty taillight. When the officer approached the driver, the man behind the wheel handed the officer his driver’s license, insurancecard and a concealed weapon carry permit. The officer took all the documents, looked them over and said. "Mr..Smith, I see you have a CCP. Do you have any weapons with you?" The driver replied, " Yes sir, I have a 357 handgun in a hip holster, a.45 in the glove box and a .22 derringer in my boot." The officer looked at the driver and asked, "Anything else?" "Yes sir, I have a Mossberg 500 12 gauge and an AR-15 behind the seat." The officer asked if the man was driving to or from a shooting rangeand the man said he wasn't, so the officer bent over and looked intothedriver's face and said "Mr. Smith, you're carrying quite a few guns. May I ask what you are afraid of? Mr. Smith locked eyes with the officer and calmly answered, "Not a thing!" 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

My Texan counterpart at Dell has an Ar15 in his gun rack
What really worried was the amount of ammo he has, enough to start his own revolution! You cannot teach stupid people to do clever things |

And they wonder why all these massacres take place...
I enjoy shooting as much as any red blooded male but the US gun culture is utterly dimented. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

Still kinda on topic'ish this story... I think....
Went on a stag do to Vilnius a few years back and one mornings activity was at a firing range, shooting a variety of hand guns, rifles and shotguns. Old hungover Muppet Monkey here gets handed the AK47 first. Now I know nowt about firearms so I don't know what setting it was on or if I squeezed the trigger twice but first shot hits the target somewhere and following the recoil I wasn't expecting, my second shot takes out the ceiling lights in my lane of the firing range. Apart from that costly embarrassment, rather worryingly I quiet enjoyed the whole experience at the time. I've not experienced first hand US gun culture but the Lithuanians were un-nervingly enthusiastic So, on the basis, that my ability to start a revolution is somewhat limited, these days, a BSA .22 air rifle for vermin control is about as good as it gets. Monkey - LOL! Machine guns "climb" each time a round is fired. Takes some getting used to (unless using a bipod!)!
Fired zillions of rounds in various APWTs from all sorts of nasty kit. Fun on a range, less so when aiming at people. Paintballing this weekend for bro in law's (to be) stag do. He's never done it before but was a top level sniper for many years - so good that he was part of a big Army weapons testing team. I have a feeling he might be quite a handy shot!
