I have the 165BHP Power Map from Pete on my 2.4 for 2 years now, I would not do without.
Intercooler is standard. Everything has been said on improved drivability, and I totally support.
With the added power on tap, I swapped the transfer box for an Ashcroft one with 1.1 ratio (instead of standard 1.2) and ATB.
Tyres are BFGs AT K02 265/75 so same diameter as factory fitted 235/85.
The 1.1 ratio matches perfectly the extra power in my opinion, improves the 1st gear that was too short for my usage (I don't tow), enables cruising "more quietly" on french motorways at 130km/h speed -limit here- at below 2500rpm in 6th (vs. more than 2700rpm with 1.2 ratio).
For me BAS 165BHP + Ashcroft 1.1 ratio is the perfect combination. Love it.
ATB center diff is just the cherry on the cake (less backlash and makes driving on snowy mountain roads a joke )
Been up in the Alps and Pyrenees tracks with this (does not alter low range ratio), and driving there from Paris several times a year is now a breeze !

Sounds interesting! What’s the cost of the 150bhp map?

I once sold the 130. Had to buy one back. Wouldn't dare selling the Caterham and going through the same story again.
Sometimes I feel like having the need for a tune on the 130, but then again... It'll never be a race car anyways. Even now too many speed tickets for my liking.
