Fished a really nice lake called Swangey Lakes near Attleborough, supposed to have a good head of Carp and Catfish.
Fished a 24hr session but no Carp just 2 Catfish (12lb and 9lb), to be honest got pestered nearly all the session with the Catfish messing around with the bait Off to Redhouse lake near Derby tomorrow for a 24hr session as part of the Derby Pride Angling Association club Waters, so hopefully will get a run or ten Don |

Lived in Norfolk all my life and I had to look that up on Google Maps! Driven past on the A11 a few times.
Better luck in Derby |

my dad is a psychopathic carp angler. used to quit his job for the fishing season, we were only had tea every other night, didn't have a new pair of shoes until my mum left him. he did always have the latest gear and the best secret formula 'bolies' money could buy. I never managed to get the fishing bug lol DON'T PANIC

I have a Richard Walker Mk4 split cane carp rod which I acquired in 1969 but I never used it. I don’t know the true age but assume at least 50 years old. It’s straight and not had the tip broken and still has the original rod bag with the B James and son name tag. Do any of you Carp guys have an idea of what it may be worth?
