4 high should just provide drive to both axles without locking and drivetrain, I used to have an older model and the manual stated to use 4 high when towing. The owners manual should state when the different options should be used. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

I have had a few Rangers over the last few yrs (currently running the new 2.0 twin turbo which I am very impressed with)
Off road I work on the premise that if I can feel it winding up (skipping) it doesn’t need to be in 4WD Ie on mud or snow you won’t feel it winding up when cornering |

Yeah it isa nice truck....the wheels have a 60mm offset so hav to have wide arches...but it looks better like that, especially from the front end |

Just fitted Arches to mine, not sure about wheels yet, I like the look of the stock ones TBH

Mine are the hawke 20" matt black... Got them off 4x4tyres as a package with AT tyres for just over a grand (Just try not to kerb them) |

The look factory! Some of the bolylt on arches I see on rangers are really bad. |
