Grafty's 300tdi 110

It's about time I started a thread on the old girl.

It's my parents old 1994 110 CSW that was our family vehicle until about 2000. Since then it's been used on our site and for shooting.

In 2018 it was put onto a galv chassis, mechanically it's great but the bodywork is letting it down so that's next on the list!

It's just clicked over 100k miles so is far from worn out!

Are the vents covered with duct tape?

The passenger vent is yes, not because it leaks but because the seal isn't quite tight enough so above 50 mph the is an increasingly loud whistle that gets to painful volume levels at about 70 mph.

I taped it up for a trip to the Midlands and still haven't removed it

Good starter there for the grafty bus project

I would do away with that EGR and CAT if you haven't done so. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

It doesn't have a CAT and I think it's pre EGR as well. It will sit very happily at 70. Like all vehicles in the Grafton household it's tuned with switchable diesel pump and full front mount intercooler etc
