Double update today, firstly the 110 passed another MOT with no advisories Cool with celebratory picture

And secondly I fitted a 3rd interior light (load space light yet to have uprated bulb) and also wired all 3 lights to come on with all doors. The original setup was front light with front two doors and rear light with safari door. The rear passenger doors did not operate the lights!

Nothing major but it makes a big difference in the dark!

Congrats on the MOT Very Happy

It's amazing the difference a third light makes, isn't it? LR definitely had their cheapskate hat on when that decision was made, although I sometimes think it's the only hat they own Rolling Eyes Darren

Yes it makes a huge difference. Had I kept my 110 puma longer it would have had the same modification Thumbs Up

As you say, cheapskate hat on - and it wouldn't have been an expensive modification to do at the factory! 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

neat mod that is Thumbs Up was it easy to wire in to the doors? I have a loom for a rear light in storage that i was going use on my old 300, for a rear light. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

MG Rover was the same, Cutting corners on stuff. The metros i had you could really see, All 3 were different. The early one had bits and pieces that was missing on the two later ones. The last one M reg one was practically very basic and that was supposed to be a limited edition model trip and colour.
Same went for one of the lads on the 306 forum with his posh rovers as i used wind him up with. He got one of the last ones and said the a mount of stuff that they missed off compared to the one that was a couple of years older was unreal. Just to try and keep the businesses running, he even found that they had put a 143 head on too, rather than a 160. Shocked Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Yeah it's pretty poor! Like with my 90 - factory 15p engine with 10p plastic head dowels Rolling Eyes

The lights were easy enough. I basically rewired the lot to be switched from the front light and then added wires to the extension loom the go down the B pillars and end to the various switches Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Another little update on the 110, going towards a more period correct look. The A bar will eventually be coming off and spotlamps in the bumper going. Can't rush these things though Rolling with laughter

I think I prefer the plain look to be honest, I thought I'd like the A bar more than I do - although it might look better with an AC nose cone Confused 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I couldn't resist this bullbar when I saw it for sale, but now just 6months later I'm beginning to think I might prefer the cleaner original look too.
