JLR have broke a lot of their faithful off in great numbers. I can’t see JLR costing up to Royalty etc is going to improve things. They always have been closely aligned yes, but their just reducing their customer base further and further into the exclusive like Aston & Morgan etc. That’s all very well but in the long run the popularity and numbers will just plummet. With a smaller and smaller share there is then a lot more vulnerability to market shocks and failing.

I was interested to see MG advertising and see their new car lately. I thought they had all but disappeared along with Rover. Off Topic

Aston Martin seem to be having a terrible time at present. Their foray into the stock market was a disaster with their share price plummeting. Last piece I read they were having to borrow money through bonds at high interest rates to keep going. If this is what JLR aspire to, well good luck.

MGs are not a sports car anymore. They are more Dacia than MX5. Personally an MX5 style of car is what the old MG (Rover Group) should have been building.

I do, because I hate hypocrites. ‘We won’t have more than two kids, to protect the future of our planet”, but we will allow JLR to ship our 3t armoured RR over for us to feel safe, plus a batch of other 2t vehicles that probably aren’t really needed. And this is all because of the ‘Hollywood’ Prima Donna that Harry has become. He used to be the grounded one, the warrior one, the honest one, the partying one. Not long ago an Africa trip would have been Harry and his RPO in a Hilux or Defender. This ‘fleet’ and this attitude has come from her, because as far as I’m aware, Harry’s lineage to the throne hasn’t changed, he hasn’t become more precious. Monsieur Le Grenadier

Yeah, Harry's life was much better before when he was dressing up as an SS officer, gangbanging hookers in Vegas and getting dragged off by his dad to rehab.

She's a very bad a influence on him.

I guess regardless of our views on the royals and whether we say they are privileged and worth the monies or a waste of monies and disliked, it cannot be nice living your whole life in the public eye being dammed if you do or dammed if you don’t, I don’t envy them or their lifestyle and all they have to contend with 24/7

As Landrover say “one life live it” can you imagine living your one life under all that scrutiny and your every move being watched. 2015 HT XS 90

Totally agree mate.

Especially with our tabloid press, who must be amongst the most scummy in the world. You'd have hoped they'd changed their ways after their part in causing the death of Diana. I guess as long as people buy and read their drivel they'll keep on producing it, regardless of the lives it ruins.

Saying that, the press would argue these stories are in the public interest. All a royal would have to do is renounce their title and stop relying on the public purse for a living. As a private citizen, the press could not report in the same manner.

Enough about the Meghan Markle please, a little sympathy required.
It must be very very difficult living up to the Duchess of Cambridge in looks and style , when you are a second rate B movie actress from America and this is the only way you can get on and above your station . Thumbs Up 1983 Series 3 Pick up in Marine Blue

I mean... people (you) said "how classy picking on a 16 year old with aspergers"

She's a mouthpiece, be it for her own agenda, or per parents (that's a whole different thing, if so),

So, she wants to illuminate the current climate situation or whatever, fair enough. But if she's going to be in the public eye stating this, then she should be ready for abuse/disagreements/non interest etc...

So you stating how classy it is to pick on her; well she's the one out there saying it all, we didn't ask her to, so why accuse people of being "classy" in a condescending way?
