Heritage Day in South Africa
As a public holiday can't go to waste I gave the Landy a good clean.

First the engine.

Then the outside. Wash, clay and some McGuire's detailer.

And finally the inside. All in it took more than 5 hours.

Now as Heritage day is also known as National Braai day I had to light a fire and enjoy some homemade stout.

My favourite place on earth, RSA.

Must be wonderful to live in a country designed for Land Rovers......where there’s no need to salt the roads and rot the chassis 😀

Enjoy the braai, although I think I’d take a Hansa over the stout!

I'm very lucky to have her. 2006 300Tdi. Only about 200 made. From about '99 only Td5's came here. As a sendoff before the Puma LR had this limited edition, 300Tdi with A/C, no EGR and some stickers, bullbar and treadplate.

It's called a Kalahari.
