Leaving our B & B on a drizzly Monday morning we headed up to JOG's but first we stopped off at Duncansby Head, being the most northerly point

We left there to make our way to Ullapool for our B & B for the night, just some awesome view pic's

So leaving the B & B we headed back down to Kendal for a 2 day stop over at our B & B

Heading back over the bridge to Inverness, NC 500 completed

The next day we went around Kendal, very nice place, then went onto Windermere

After leaving Windermere we went and had a look and walk around Grassmere, very nice place as well

After a good time in and around Grassmere we went around Coniston

Then we left the B & B the next morning to drive home and got home in good time.

We had an awesome time as it was our first major holiday for 30 years and our 30th wedding anniversary this year

Millie did us proud and did just under 2,300 trouble free miles

Clayton, thanks for sharing that. Looks like a cracking and trip and its reinforced my opinion that Scotland is one part of the world I really need to go and explore more of.

And I'd say you've struck lucky there with Mrs Clayton, putting up with that journey in a truck cab

I know exactly what response I'd get if I suggested it

You need to Rosco, just an awesome place to visit and i'm lucky that the wife loves the landy to ride in as it's high enough to see allot and with the comfy seats helps to
