Outside of the USA now it's going to be up against the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux and the Isuzu DMAX - all ladder chassis and available as Double Cab / Extended Cab / Single Cab (I think Ranger is only DC) each with 1 ton and long enough bed capacity - it may well be the Defender Pickup just can't work in anything other than Single Cab because of its 'arse too short / front too long' design constraint Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

A mexican company did a Disco 4 Pickup. though the New Defender is not as easy to do.
